Behringer: since 1919 from Kirchardt, with Eisele for circular saws
August Behringer laid the foundation of today’s company in 1919 in Kirchardt, Germany, and the company has run its own iron foundry since 1952. Behringer builds band saws for metal and aluminium in many sizes and versions. For cold saws, the Behringer Group has the brand Eisele: taken over by Behringer in 2001, based in Weilheim an der Teck and today trading as Behringer Eisele GmbH. It is a separate circular saw brand under the same corporate roof as Behringer itself. Pressta-Eisele is an unrelated company; if your nameplate says Eisele, check which of the two it is.

Overhaul or sell?
Before you decide to sell, consider the alternative. For its own saws, Behringer offers a factory general overhaul in its own works as an economic alternative to buying new when the accuracy of an older machine drops. That makes most sense if you want to keep using the machine in your own plant. If you choose to sell instead, we buy your Behringer or Eisele saw.
Independent of Behringer
We are not affiliated with Behringer or Eisele. We act independently as a buyer on the secondary market and assess each machine individually on condition, equipment and current demand, whatever the manufacturer’s label says.
What we need from you
- Series and exact designation, year of manufacture
- Cutting capacity (round and square) and level of automation
- Photos: nameplate, overall view, saw head or blade, control panel and material feed
The more complete the information, the more accurate the estimate. A maintenance log, the manual and the date of the last blade or band change are not required, but they help.
The process
- You send the data and photos.
- The offer usually follows 24–48 hours on working days after we have all the details.
- Direct purchase: bank transfer before pickup; no machine leaves your site without confirmed payment. We organise dismantling and transport; the offer states upfront whether those costs are included.
The whole process usually takes 7 to 15 working days on a direct purchase. An urgent on-site visit takes place, usually within 48 to 72 hours on working days. If you are outside Germany, see selling from the UK, Ireland and the Benelux countries. That is general information, not tax advice.
