Selling your Hedelius RotaSwing: the series and the listing situation
The RotaSwing is an older Hedelius series with a rotary/swivel table and ran roughly from 2004 to 2014 (the current series is the Acura): combined 3- and 5-axis machining, a fixed table plus a separate rotary/swivel table unit, built in Meppen in the Emsland. For sellers it is a special case — for this series several listings with a price are currently posted, whereas for most other Hedelius series the marketplaces mostly show “price on request”.

Asking prices on used-machinery marketplaces, October 2026, three listings, build years 2009 to 2012 (sources: resale.de, listings 168940064 and 170037263; Maschinensucher, listing A22859590): €53,000 to €85,000, with the RS 60 at CHF 58,000 in between. These are asking prices of listed machines, neither achieved sale prices nor purchase prices from us. Build year, control and equipment determine where your machine sits within that. Two of the three listings come from the larger size, which we cover separately: Sell Hedelius RotaSwing 80. The methodology behind our figures: What is my CNC machine worth?
What determines your Hedelius RotaSwing’s price
- Build year: together with operating hours and equipment, one of the most important factors; the three current listings come from build years 2009 to 2012.
- Control: a Heidenhain iTNC 530 meets the broad market; a Siemens Sinumerik 840D is sellable but appeals to fewer buyers.
- Size: the 80 models serve a larger range of parts than the 60 series; that affects the buyer pool but does not replace an individual valuation.
- Equipment lines: Magnum and KL versions bring clamping and loading benefits that show in the price.
- Rotary/swivel unit: it is the heart of the 5-axis capability — a documented test run is your best selling document.
Typical buyers of a Hedelius RotaSwing
Buyers come predominantly from fixture construction and tool and mould making, plus general engineering and vehicle building. For many of these shops the RotaSwing is the affordable way into 5-axis machining with Hedelius mechanics. All series at a glance: Hedelius brand hub. The current Hedelius series with a rotary/swivel table, the Acura: Sell Hedelius Acura 65.
How the sale works
The process follows our Hedelius acquisition process: the nameplate, model designation, control, hour reading and photos are enough for a first assessment. The offer and payment before pickup (direct purchase) follow; we organise disassembly and transport. Details: How it works. If you are parting with several machines: Sell machining centres.
