Selling a Fanuc Robodrill with robot or DDR-T rotary table
Robodrill automation involves two different things that are often confused. The DDR-T is, according to Fanuc, a direct-drive, backlash-free rotary table (trunnion system with counter-bearing) that serves the machine as an additional axis — it is neither a robot nor a production cell. Robot loading is a separate option: Fanuc offers the ROBODRILL Robot Package for it. Both options change the machine’s profile; we assess them separately.
If your machine has neither robot loading nor a DDR-T rotary table, the right page is Sell Fanuc Robodrill D-Series.
What Fanuc describes for DDR-T and Robot Package
- DDR / DDR-T (rotary table): direct-drive and backlash-free, as an additional axis of the Robodrill. The DDR-T adds a counter-bearing and L-brackets (trunnion) to the rotary table for workpieces up to 200 kg.
- Robot Package (robot loading): according to Fanuc comprises a FANUC robot, robot interface, robot stand, safety fence and a sample robot program; it automates loading and unloading as well as deburring, among other things.

Asking prices (as of October 2026)
For Robodrill with robot loading we have no reliable public prices. For machines with a DDR-T rotary table we found two listings on Maschinensucher (fixed price plus VAT, EXW, location France):
| Configuration | Build year | Operating hours | Asking price (net) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Robodrill D21LiB5 + DDR-T (listing A22224757) | 2014 | 21,800 h | €71,000 |
| Robodrill D21LiB5 + DDR-T (listing A22224797) | 2017 | 15,200 h | €74,000 |
Two listings do not make a price range, and asking prices are not sale prices. Both listings mention an automatic side door for robot loading; a Fanuc robot (M20iA12L) is listed there as an option at extra cost. On general valuation methodology: What is my CNC machine worth?
What determines the value of your Robodrill with automation
- Base machine (e.g. D21 or D28): series, generation, table load and tool positions are the first sorting point for every buyer (see Fanuc Robodrill D-Series).
- Type of automation: DDR-T rotary table (additional axis, workpieces up to 200 kg) or robot loading with robot, robot interface, robot stand and safety fence — scope and robot series belong in the valuation.
- Level of integration and documentation: robot interface, programs and maintenance records should be complete and traceable.
- Robot and spindle hours documented separately: the two components wear differently — separate records speed up the assessment.
- Completeness of the safety enclosure: safety fence and safety technology should be complete; missing parts must be added by the buyer.
Robot loading and documentation
According to the manufacturer, Fanuc’s ROBODRILL Robot Package comprises a FANUC robot, robot interface, robot stand, safety fence and a sample robot program. If these components are present and documented on your machine, that makes the valuation easier. For the full valuation across the whole Robodrill series: Fanuc Robodrill brand hub.
How the sale works
The process follows the Fanuc Robodrill brand hub: send data and photos of the machine, rotary table and, if applicable, robot, first assessment, offer after review, payment before pickup. On request we can also discuss a more discreet sale process tailored to your timeline instead of a public tender — especially if the machine is still in production. We organize disassembly and transport. Details on the standard process: How it works.
